Cherry Pie

This may seeem like no big deal to most of you, but for those who really know me...this was HUGE!!! I made my very first homemade cherry pie. Actually, this was my first homemade anything!! Ha ha and I am happy to say it was delicious!!

Summer 2010

We have finally returned from our trip to California/Oregon. We drove the motorhome and camped along the way as we visited the Redwoods, ocean, Crater Lake, Diamond Lake, and East Lake. We also stopped by to see some old friends in Northern California. I was a little nervous for this trip because this was our first big adventure driving in the motorhome. I wasnt sure if Bob could handle such a beast of a vehicle and I knew I wasnt going to attempt to drive it. I am too much of a wimp!! Nevertheless..Bob did a fantastic job driving(only scraping one tree) and I am happy to say there were no major incidents. It only took about 12 hours of driving for me to get use to all the bumps, turns, and noises to realize we werent going to tip over and wouldnt hit a car when we took a turn. I strongly recommend going 65 or less, something Bob eventually figured out. Lol...I loved spending time with my girls and love that they enjoy camping, fishing, and hanging out with us. These are the kind of memories that fill my heart and put a smile on my face. Thanks to my wonderful family for another fun -filled, laughter-filled, drama-filled and most memorable trip.
