End of Summer

Its official...Today marks the last day of my summer vacation. We've had a wonderful, fun-filled, action- packed summer. No sooner did we get out of school and we headed to Arizona for a baptism. On our way home from AZ we stopped and played in Vegas. I LOVE Vegas!! We were home for about a week before we loaded up once again and headed to Northern California. We spent 9 days traveling along the California/Oregon Coast. Although it was lots of fun, I think all 6 of us(including the dog)were happy to be home again. At this point I am starting to re-evaluate my sanity as we start to plan yet another trip. Somewhere between soccer practices, soccer camps, volleyball practices, Girl Scout play dates, and Scentsy parties, I manage to get ourselves ready for my sister and her fiance to visit. We spend 5 wonderful days playing on the boat, roller skating, bowling, staying up late and eating, eating, eating. All of this eating has led me to my new interest...The Gym!! Like I didnt already have enough things on my to do list yet somehow I manage to squeeze it in. The latest project I have been working on is planning my husbands 40th birthday party. We are excited and it should be lots of fun. So I will spend the last few hours of my vacation shopping for party supplies, picking up the dance floors, buying all the food, getting the lights put up, putting tiki torches out, and entertaining my in-laws who have come down for the big event. Its true what they say...I think I need a vacation from my vacation.
